Back/glute pain - prolozone therapy

iv bad tight glute pain/ muscle pain in my glutes mainly left side for 8 months.

GP useless been waiting 7 months for a physio, they won’t do any tests just keep giving me medication which does nothing.

iv tried private physio x2, chiro, osteo, acupuncture, radio frequency treatments. Nothing has worked

I have come across a osteo who does porolozone injections. I am so skeptical of this and very scared to try them. He did ultrasound and said he can see inflammation on L5/s1 - saying this I do sometimes have pain here but mostly it’s in my glutes. He thinks it’s coming from here and the injections should clear it up. I am so scared just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with these? I have had a pilonidal cyst removed just below over a decade ago but I have a lot of anxiety of that returning etc.

iv Had no testing on the nhs so no idea how accurate the diagnosis is.

any advice will be much appreciated

thanks

I’d be more inclined to see a spinal surgeon rather than an osteo for an MRI and any prolozone therapy
