I know people will probably say go to a doctor and don’t ask on mumsnet but I don’t like going and they’re very busy so if enough people say it’s fine I will take that as a sign.

I knocked my leg on the side of a cupboard about a month before Christmas. It wasn’t particularly bad - it came up purple and tender (about as big as the palm of my hand) The bruise is still there (although faded a bit now) and slightly tender still. Just doesn’t seem to want to go.

On the other leg, on the side of my knee, I developed a numb patch, about three inch diameter. No injury or anything and it’s been there for three weeks, no significant change, possibly got a bit bigger but can’t be sure.

Had some investigations for ms last year which they said it wasn’t and the whole experience was frankly a bit shit so I don’t want to see anyone medical unless I have to.
