anyone had laser resurfacing for tonsil stones?

I have had tonsil stones for years but they have been really bad lately. I am in NZ and they are very reluctant to remove tonsils here but I have read about laser resurfacing and that it is done with just a local anesthetic (SP). Anyone had this done, has it been successful? Pain ok? Recovery? Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of tonsil stones, but I thought you might like a bump!

There have been various (gruesome) tonsil stones discussions if you do a search.

thanks moondog (and itsahardknocklife) tried the discussions but didn't find any mention of the laser treatment. Mostly it seems people either put up with them or get their tonsils out.

Have 'em out then and be done with it.

Never heard of that but have em whipped out. I did (age 30) and it changed my life.
