I have folliculitis on my lower left leg, and some red freckles on my right leg? Is this cause for concern?

The folliculitis itches, it didn't itch before, but it does now. I don't even know if it's folliculitis, because it sounds like skin infections, I'm so confused. The red freckles I didn't know existed, until now I checked my right leg and found them.
