im on the non emergency waiting list for an ultrasound. I’ve heard the waiting list is very long (I’m waiting for 2+ months now). I’m considering going private for an ultrasound. What happens afterwards? It’s a suspected hernia so if the ultrasound confirms it do I then send it to my GP for them to move forward with my treatment do I have to get treatment privately?
