Sore breasts! Any advice please?

Hi,

Just posting to see if anyone has had something similar and can offer some advice please?

For the last 5/6 days both my breasts have been really sore and painful. They both feel very ‘lumpy’ and now my neck, shoulders and back are starting to feel sore and uncomfortable with it too.

Just for a bit of context, I’m mid forties, no chance of being pregnant and had the mirena coil fitted about 3 months ago (if that’s of any relevance?)

I did an online referral to 111 yesterday morning because the pain was so bad I was crying but it just said they’d call me back within 24 hours, which is fine as I understand they are very busy.

Has anyone had anything similar to that who could give me some advice please because it really is making me miserable now 😞

im currently having sore (not really painful though) breasts.
I had never had breast soreness before my period (other than during mastitis when feeding my babies) but for the last year or so, I get sore boobs before my period.

This time though, one feels ropey/lumpy at times and the soreness in both hasn’t disappeared. I have a period every 21 days so ovulate not long after my period ends then it’s back again for another period - this time, the breast lumpiness hasn’t gone. Have no idea whether it’s like a blocked duct type thing maybe?

Did your’s go away ok?
