Blood tests / tiredness

I have private health care and I want to explore why I'm constantly tired. I have been tired for as long as I can remember. I feel like I must have a deficiency in something, or something I eat doesn't agree. I have had thyroid and iron tested and that's all fine. What else can I do? Who do I speak to?

Do you drink alcohol? That made me feel so tired next day, so I gave up.

I've just been summoned in for an actual GP appointment after blood tests because of folate deficiency. This is the 2nd time in a few years that this has happened. If memory serves, the first time didn't result in any actual treatment.

My ferritin was very low once, due to heavy periods. I found a picture of a scale which showed at what level you would get hair loss etc. The NHS’s idea of acceptable levels was very much below what this scale was showing, so it might be worth checking the levels yourself.
