Been bitten. I've tried anti-histamines, hydrocortisone, ice . Hurts like heck. Going to the docs tomorrow ( I'm southern hemisphere) . Couldn't go today as had family party. Any better ideas to stop the pain? That's the top of my thigh if that's not clear. Yesterday it was the about the size of a golf ball. At the top where it is purple. I think it was an ant. Anyone had anything similar?

What anti histamine have u tried. Can u get fexofenidine? And u can take more than one type. For example loratadine and certirizine at the same time. Creams containing zinc and calamine can help. Though definitely a Dr needs to check for infection asap

You can take up to 4 of the 1-a-day antihistamines in one day, and you can take different ones at the same time. Definitely do that, but also see a doctor. IME allergic reaction to a bite tends to be fairly symmetrical , which this one isn't, so I'd be concerned about infection.

I don't feel terrible, just a bit breathless ( I'm asthmatic so often am). Should have cancelled the party.

Have you increased your preventer? If you haven't, you probably ought to do so.
