We haven't been able tor egister with a dentist here since we moved 3 years ago, but ds1 fell and has broken both his front (adult) teeth. The Dentist in the village says there is no way they'll agree to see him, so not sure what to do? called number they gave me but just an answerphone for a list- same as when we moved here which was never replied to. Need ds2 to see one at some pointa s well an non emergency but his adult teeth are growing in funny (front teeth, big gap, slanted)- any advice?

Is there a dental hospital near you? My local dental hospital has open clinics and is very helpful.

try NHS direct - I think they have details of dentists taking pts, or try thr PCT - they should have information on the local emergency dental surgeries in your area.

the link by indith at the beginning of this thread was really helpful.

If you read the thread, you will see that I rang NHS Direct in the end - 0845 4647 and they gave me a different list, and I got us on a waiting list.

Which is fine for us, I'm sure that they will be able to help you get an emergency appointment.

Sadly, that link doesn't cover Wales- thanks though.
