My knuckle is missing!

Just noticed today... I broke some bones in my hand a few years ago. If I gently press on that area (ring finger of right hand), I get shooting pain and a dull ache for a long time in my entire arm

Just noticed that when put side by side, my right hand has a knuckle bump missing where the ring finger is

Is this normal? Nobody told me this would happen after it was broken

My hands look the same and I have never broken them.

Yep I know someone else this has happened to! Probably not ‘normal’ as such but it does happen

My middle bump protrudes much more than my ring finger. I do have a knuckle though - it makes my finger function correctly!

It's exactly where I broke a bone in my hand

Looks completely different to my other one

My ring finger doesn't protrude at all

If you feel it, it's like there's no bump there under the skin

My left hand does and feels normal
