I started HRT last month. I wasn't quite a whole year period free so I'm on oestrogen patches with progesterone tablets to take for the second 14days on the month. I expected a "bleed" but for some reason didn't expect it to be a proper full on painful period!
I was always pretty lucky with my periods, never too heavy, not too much pain. Bad PMT though. So this is a real kick in the teeth. Particularly as I thought my period days were behind me.
I'm just having a little rant, sorry. Being a woman is so bloody (pardon the pun) rubbish!
