How big/small do you reckon I should be?

Hi.

I am just approaching what I thought was my ideal/lets get realistic weight of 10st 7lbs. At 5ft 5", it gives me a body mass index that is JUST in the healthy category.

However, I've still got a waist measurement of 35" which is not really great at all.

Should I be aiming to lose more weight (before ds3 I struggled to get and stay below around 10st 3lbs) or should I concentrate on exercise to try to deal with my waist measurement??? If so, any top tips?

I wouldn't reallyt worry about your weight/size, more how fit you feel... I have seen female rugby players who are super fit but are very big. Obviously you need to keep an eye on that aswell, but the main thing is health/fitness etc. rather than your size, that's not the be all and end all to determine fitness.

loads of water
try doing core strengthening exercises, buy a gym ball to sit on while on MN or watching telly.

Hi, thanks for replies.

Concern about my waist line is both that it is big and also I think it puts me in a category for health risks (diabetes, heart attack?)

I think you're right I'll need to work on fitness now and try to get some muscles in my tummy.
