Advice on throat issues

This has been ongoing now for nearly a year. I've had an MRI, had a camera up my nose and down in an attempt to discover the issue, but nothing doing, so any advice would be appreciated!

Basically I can feel something in the right-hand side of my throat. Whatever it is doesn't seem to be detectable by my GP externally.

Sometimes it doesn't make its presence felt at all. Other days, like today, my throat aches and it causes a dull pain in my neck, ear, jawbone and even sometimes my collarbone.

Occasionally I can feel something that is almost like a prickling sensation in the area I think something might be.

I'm going to make an appointment with another GP at my practice this week to see if a second opinion might help but does this sound familiar to anyone? Any advice? ENT specialist is now saying it might be acid reflux, but I've never had anything like that before.

For clarity, I don't have health anxiety and am usually pretty efficient in dealing with health issues but any answer to this has eluded me!

Just because you haven't had it before doesn't mean you don't have it now.
Many years ago I had a camera down my throat for similar reasons. They couldn't really find a cause but gave me one month's treatment for reflux in case it was that.

@Cookerhood That's absolutely true of course. Did the reflux treatment work for you?

Yes it did

Thanks @Cookerhood!
