Infected tooth and tongue

I have a Terrible fear of the Dentist/ I broke a tooth a bit ago and stupidly put off getting it seen. I now think it's getting worse and I seem to have developed an infected tongue like an abscess on my tongue. I'm not in the UK (from UK live in an EU country) I'm going to try and get a dr appointment for the tongue and see if I need an urgent dentist - I'm terrified and have all sorts of fears coming making me want to pretend it's not happening but I can't live with the tongue issue I've never had before- I'm also panicking something terrible will happen- no idea why I'm writing this - I'm ashamed to talk about it irl. :(

Oh OP that must be so sore, I know the dentist is horrible but it won't get better on its own. Hopefully they'll be able to quickly file the rough edges and it'll all be done, once you have an ulcer on your tongue it'll just keep catching on the broken tooth and be sooo painful. Poor you.
