Hi All,

I was lucky enough to conceive DS2 29 months ago now to much shock as I was told I could not have anymore, anyway about about 9 months post delivery the dr put me back on metformin (now known as Glucophage) my son is now 20 months old as I was at the drs for a routine coil check but I had to tell her about some pain in the left hand side near the ovary area,, I now have to have a scan as she feels the Ovarys are now kicking back in to the cystic state after having my baby,, I have lost 2.8 stone since may and doing well but now worried that its going to get much harder, but also worried that the scan is going to reveal something much worse like ovarian cyst like my mum had at 37 or even Cancer.. (not in family but scared,,

has anybody else suffered with ovary pain with PCOS

Hello - no i have pcos but do not suffer any pain. i had difficulty getting pregnant with 1st but 2nd was easy. Keeping the weight down and taking exercise is really important to help reduce symptoms of pcos. pcos does produce cysts on ovaries but these are not normally painful. Are you sure the pain is not related to the coil? Well done on the weight loss! Keep going until you feel happy. I am sure the results will be fine, try not to worry as it will not help.
