cold sores

very strange, but i have woken up today with the start of a coldsore on my lip, but the strange part is just inside of my bottom lip i have like an ulcer looking thing, have googled and apparently u cant get coldsores on the inside of the mouth but u can get canker sores, now isnt it a bit of a coincidence that i have a coldsore and a cancker sore all in one go? has anyone else had similar?

bump please, have googled and am now going into panic mode about all sorts of oral nastys

yes I have had this but only when EXTREMELY run down. The cankersore went long before the coldsore did, in my exp.

Yes my poor DD gets both at the same time - when she's been ill with a virus. Being very run down or stressed would also do it. The little herbal company sell something called 'Themba' which is a herbal cream which DH (also cold sore king) swears by - he says it nobbled them in 3-4 days instead of the 2 weeks that they can last for with zovirax.
