I'm absolutely scared I have stomach C can someone please help bring me down

Waiting for an endoscopy, and I've started with very bad bloating every time I eat it comes back up in my throat, I'm on omerpazole and it's not working, I've been like this 1 week now I can't even eat a small meal

How long have you been suffering with these symptoms? I know it sounds scary but I had the same and it was high stomach acid. The Omeprazole did bring it under control and then I found out I couldn’t eat gluten and once I eradicated that from my diet I was able to come off the Omeprazole

For about 1 week but acid reflux on and off for about 10 years if not more I also suffer with ibs

A week isn’t long, and acid reflux can be caused by many things. It’s very unlikely to be stomach cancer x

Do you drink coffee?

I am having an endoscopy next week and am also feeling anxious about it. I have had to come off Omeprazole for 2 weeks before it. I have had two of these before but not one since before Lockdown. I worry about the acid coming up and what it is doing to my oesophagus. Tonight I feel as if I have a lump in my throat at the left hand side. It's only natural to be worried while waiting on these procedures. Have you been referred as a matter of urgency or not? I was recommended Sept and as I said it is next week. I haven't thought about it too much until now. It's normal to be anxious.

Get very back dry mouth and throat too no matter how much i drink

It sounds like reflux or even an ulcer. What dose omprez are you on?

I was on 20mg now on 40mg
