Vitamins to prevent sore throat

Hi,

Any advice on which vitamins to buy to help prevent sore throats?

How is your health in general? No vitamin will prevent sore throats but being fit, healthy and eating a decent diet will.

I mean, I'm not overweight - 68kg. Don't smoke or drink. However, I'm a teacher and every holiday I get poorly with tonsillitis. It's really getting to me and I want to try and boost my immune system.

Any ideas on decent vitamins?

I take berocca and wash down a multi vitamin tablet with minerals every morning just as a force of habit. I feel a lot better for it.

They also do an immune support one (but I can wander into anaemia so need the multivit with iron)

None of them. Vitamin C was proved not to work decades ago.
