Handhold - itu

I was woken up last night by what I thought was my husband snoring. He wasn't he'd had perhaps a heart attack/was having a fit.

Paramedics arrived in 8 minutes but after I'd had to start chest compressions. He was going blue. Needed to be shocked and is now in intensive care.

I cannot get his face out of my mind. Or that of my 2 year old who thank god was having a sleepover at my parents.

He is my world. Honestly one of the kindest and nicest person you could meet. I'm a feisty soul and I really struck gold with him. I wouldn't change him for the world and now I don't know what is going to happen/

Not sure of the point of this really just need a handhold I suppose and positive outcomes if anyone has any.

I’m sorry, that must have been terrifying. I don’t have any experience but here to give a handhold.Flowers

Newuser75 · 30/12/2023 10:01

Oh my goodness how scary for you. Thank goodness you woke up and were able to help him so quickly! You should be proud of yourself.

He is in the best place and the fact that he is still here is very reassuring! I really hope he makes a quick and full recovery!

He's in the best place, he survived the initial heart attack and help arrived very quickly. A lot of people have good outcomes from these events and I assume he is relatively young so has a good chance of a full recovery.

Big hand hold!

You did an amazing thing by administering CPR and he is now in the best place. I wish a positive outcome for you all.

Well versed in heart issues. The fact thar he got help so quickly is a great thing. A good indicator that he will recover and even get the care he needs to prevent it happening again. Not an easy time for you and family . Prayers for a good recovery.
