my friend's daughter suffers from migraines. Not sure whether she started that early though. She was told by a neurologist to cut out: chocolate, cheese, anything with sweetners (you'd be surprised what they are in nowadays!), and fizzy drinks in general. Seems like there are very good drugs out there for migraine but not for kids...

Just wondering... did anybody check whether she spiked a temperature before or with the headaches? My dd (6) does get temperature spikes for no apparent reason which are accompanied by head aches. No idea what is causing the temperature spikes besides a latent virus but pretty certain it's not migraine.

Good luck

Poor thing.

Migraines are uncommon at this age, but can happen. Has she been seen by a paediatrician or paediatric neurologist?

I think I had my first migraine around 5 or 6, still having them now . A range of medication over the years has helped.
