Bloody irritating cough

I've got an awful tickly cough...no other symptoms. Is there ANYTHING that can help? Once I start coughing, I can’t stop. It's bloody annoying and embarrassing 😳

Could be acid reflux. If it is, taking gaviscon would help.

I had a cough for months and was diagnosed with silent reflux. I took Pepcid AC which helped a lot ( also watched the foods I ate as well)

I had this for weeks. I finally got a doctors appointment but then came down with a cold and the tickly cough turned into a rattly throaty cough so I cancelled the appointment as I thought they'd only tell me I had a cold. I'm fed up with coughing now as I cough in the summer with hay fever!

Once a cough takes hold of me there is only one thing that ever works. First thing in the morning, Peel a clove of raw garlic, crush between two spoons and swallow, quickly followed by a glass of water.

Notice the immediate drying feeling in your sinuses.

Repeat daily until you notice that the cough has gone. It can take up to a couple of weeks.

I've got terrible heartburn and a chesty cough. I feel sick all the time. I wonder if it's connected?
