Hi, I wasn't sure where to post this so hope general health is okay 😬
My mirena coil was due out may 2022 but the doctor couldn't get it out. I was sent for a scan and the coil was still in place so just had to wait for an appointment to get it removed at the hospital. Months passed and I heard nothing 🙄. Got referred again but to a different hospital and had another scan and they said, it's where it should be and they'll send it for an appointment to be made asap (this was in June) again I didn't hear anything so during my smear test 2 months ago I was like can you see any sign of my coil? And the nurse told me she couldn't but said she'd get the doctors to refer me again. I got a notification on my NHS app saying a refferal was made and it should be review before 27th December. Anyway got an email today saying there's been an update on my heath record and the refferal has disappeared! And no appointments made 😩. Any idea what to do next as this is getting ridiculous 🤦🏻♀️
