First time of having covid

Tested as dm ill and waiting hospital admission, plus it felt different to a cold. All jabbed, never tested positive before. I feel awful! Chances of recovery for Christmas? Tested positive yesterday started feeling ill Monday night. Can’t get out of bed currently.

Took 6 days here before feeling slightly better. Couldn’t even shower for the first 5 days. It’s been awful, still not 100% on day 10!

Oh no! Felt a little rough, worse, worse again today - haven't been able to shower or stand for long. Any tips?

Everyone's different. I was unwell with a very minor headache and and fever for 24 hours, that was it. My very healthy non smoking brother ended up in hospital (even with vaccination, bizarre!). Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I was in bed for 4-5 days. Lots of water and paracetamol. I just felt wiped out when I had it. Hope you feel better soon

I did nothing but sleep for the first 4-5 days.. was OK by day 7.
Currently on round 2 🤧 don't feel as bad so far but not sure how long I've had it x

You really can't push yourself through covid

I have it now. I had a fever for about 12 hours but aside from that it's felt like a cold.

It’s been so long for many people since they were vaccinated that lots are feeling really unwell for several days now. Hope you feel better soon but I wouldn’t plan anything involving much effort for Christmas Day.

Thanks everyone I'm just drinking loads and taking migraine pills as it's evolved into migraine. Every time I feel enthused to try getting up I'm floored.
Have had all vaccines as I'm a carer.
