What should I do, tooth related

So my molar at the bottom left had a hole in it the last few months, dentist said it needed to be taken out, I took my chances and I've had no pain or infections with it
Fast forward to Sunday and while eating I've managed to break the tooth further 🙃 making the hole way bigger,
So there's a big chunk of my tooth missing now,
I have no pain, sensitivity or anything.
My question is while I will have it taken out soon, is it too soon to be taken out for xmas?
I'm afraid incase of dry socket and complications if I get it done this close to xmas!
Or am I being foolish and risking infection by not getting it taken out?
Nearly wish I was in pain so my decision was easier 😅

Well, I would get it out now before things get worse! You shouldn't need to worry about dry socket if you follow the after care instructions properly.
