Should I be concerned about this?

This area has popped up on my cheek. It is raised and I find it itchy occasionally. The red veins are normal for me. I don't want to waste time at the doctors if someone here knows what it is.

I am very fair and have been burned a lot. I burn very easily. Obviously I worry about skin cancer and have to use SPF 40 but have been caught out.

Absolutely go and get that checked.

I had an phone consultation this evening with the gp after sending a photo this morning. They suggested trying an anti biotic cream for a week and if not change to go see them in person.

The creams haven't changed the appearance, I'm starting to think it's a cluster of the little veins on my face. It's definitely redder when I'm flushed.
