It’s def not an A+E job. Is it GP? Do walk in centres X-ray if needed?

I’ve had an odd, specific pain in my big toe for probably a few months now - I can’t stand on my toes now or bend them in like a lunge and it’s starting to hurt to walk. Feels like it needs to crack. When I look at it, there’s a white/red bit which when I press makes me feel sick. I suspect it’s been broken a while and I’ve ignored it and it’s got worse.

Where do I go to get it checked out?

GP can refer for a routine X-ray. That way you can book an appointment rather than wait hours.
Did you actually injure it? Wondering if it’s possibly gout if you didn’t have an injury to begin with.

@MugsAplentyForMe Perfect! Thanks so much, I had no idea.

I’ve no idea, but I do run a lot and have broken almost all my metatarsals in the same foot over the last 20years mainly through sport and stress fractures so I’m assuming it’s a similar one!
