Help Interpreting Blood Tests

These were taken day 1 of my period. I am concerned the LH/FSH are really low. GP himself was unsure. What does everyone else think? GP seems to think it’s “lower than he’s seen before” but hasn’t suggested any other follow up.

I’m wondering if I need to push for a referral to anyone - Endocrinologist?

personally I’d say they’re pretty normal for day 1 of the cycle - so still normal luteal phase values as follicular phase not kicked in yet. All depends on the context though and why they were done etc.

I thought day 1 would be follicular phase?

Ideally they’d have been taken on day 3 so these wouldn’t worry me for day 1.

They just seem quite far below the follicular range and I’m worried it could be a pituitary tumour causing it

The first thing an endocrinologist would do is get the blood tests repeated on the correct day of your cycle. Because this test was done on day 1, the results aren’t clinically meaningful. Can your GP agree to re-test on day three, in the morning before eating?
