The last 2 times Ive been to the toilet my poo was nearly black. I've googled it and I've frightened myself thinking internal bleeding. But I've recently started taking a gluclosomine supplement. Hoping it might be that. Anyone know? Obviously will go to the doctor.

Much depends on how you are in yourself. How do you feel?

A change in diet / supplements could account for this change

Definitely check with GP - it says to do this if you are experiencing blood in your stools or dark, tarry-colored stools, towards the bottom of this info sheet I found online about glucosamine: https://www.drugs.com/npc/glucosamine.html#

Hopefully it turns out to be nothing but best to check x

I wore assuming you would still see a GP - the stress won’t do you any good

Hope it is just the supplement

Mine only turned black when I took iron tablets!
