14 mo chicken pox all over bottom....any suggestions?

I was so keen for DD2 to get chicken pox and now its all over her bottom like really bad nappy rash and i feel awful i tried to get her to catch it.
Any ideas on how to relive the discomfort? I hat that she cries so loudly in pain every time I change her nappy.

Sorry havent read all the thread only op.My dd got chicken pox about aged 2.She had lots on her bottom but was in terrible pain and we couldnt figure why.GP told us they have twice as many spots on the inside as they do the outside, and it turned out the poor love had them inside her bottom which was causing a spasm.GP prescribed lignocaine which is an anaesthetic gel and it really helped .
Perhaps you could find a gel that has some anaesthetic effect and of course keep up the calpol.
Have you seen a Gp ?
