Top tips to shorten a cold?

Woke with a sore throat so I've obviously got something brewing...So far today I've done the following (I eat really well anyway so shouldn't be lacking vitamins)

Gargled with soluble aspirin
Used my facial steamer
Taken multi vitamin
Taken a zinc tablet
Made hot honey and lemon drink
Eaten oranges

I'm about to do a nasal rinse.

Any other ideas?

48 hours later and it hasn't developed! I think the nasal rinsing is what does the trick....

Yes echinacea I use the drops vogel ones and first defence as well

The first defense nasal spray is an absolute game changer. I think you’re meant to do four squirts in each nostril every four hours but that makes me sneeze so much I feel like it doesn’t stay in my body so I do one squirt an hour and that’s literally stopped a cold developing multiple times.

High dose Vitamin C with zinc
Echinacea
Loads of fluids
4 x a day for first day then 2 x a day.
Definitely helps reduce severity and length of illness!

All the above but also Steam - twice or three times a day - also great for your skin

I’m going to try steam. On day 3 of an absolute stinker. Still can’t get up.
