Hi everyone,
My mum has wet AMD in one eye and she has had a few injections into her eye to try and improve her sight. A couple of weeks after the second injection a blood vessel burst and it has caused an even bigger black splodge in her eye. She has now been told by her consultant and another doctor that having another injection is unlikely to make it any better. My mum has asked for another injection anyway to see what happens. The doctors said there is no other treatment and her eye will not get any better. I know I'm not a doctor but I'm just struggling to think there is absolutely nothing else they can do! Does anyone have an experience/advice on this? Tia x
