geez I know and she's weird about her skin, if she gets a freckle she goes into a major panic about it so you can imagine her with the bl* wart

dd1 had some tiny warts on her face for years - literally almost 5 years

they disappeared one day like a miracle

SSSandy2 · 14/03/2008 11:01

TheHonEnid · 14/03/2008 11:02

I think if you leave the wart it will go on it's own but may take a year or so .. and they are contagious so i would treat it.
When dd had a wart on her hand i used bazooka .. as it said on the box. It seals it and dropped off, like it said, in about 12 weeks.
hth

found this on internet

Folk remedies for warts

There is no scientific evidence that any of these remedies is effective. The reason people believe in them is because warts disappear by themselves

  • Tape the inner side of a broad bean pod over the wart.
  • Every day, rub the wart with a raw potato.
  • Squeeze radish juice onto the wart.
  • Squeeze dandelion sap onto the wart.
  • Mix castor oil into a paste with baking soda. Apply the paste twice a day.
  • Rub the wart with a piece of raw meat. Bury the meat in the garden. Wait for the wart to drop off as the meat rots.

at last one!

when my dd got the outbreak on her bum and back of her knees she was desperately unhappy at school and they were gone when she left that school for good.

I expect being unhappy lowered her resistance and that's why she caught the virus in the first place. I don't know for sure but that's my guess, so I'd imagine anything that strengthens your immune system would help prevent you catching them, maybe help your body fight the virus

Some nice cures on that list though

sounds mad but my dad told my school freind to do this and it worked. when I mentioned it to my gp(we were talking warts and verucas) he said it did work.
