I've had my Mirena for 18 months now, and its the best thing ever for heavy periods. Havent had a period for over a year, but this week I've had some bleeding for about a week now, not heavy. Could my Mirena have come out without me knowing? Or would I know.

I had one for 5 years. With very occasional bleeds. However, he you are worried, see your doctor. I don't think it would have come out without you noticing, tbh. As its a t shape.

i wne to the nurse nad asked her to have a feel around for the threads, when she couldnt find them i had to go and have an ultrasound (i was worried theyd find no coil and a baby!)

i have no idea hwat happened to it
