Cold syptoms

Obviously I know no one can diagnose me on here but I suppose I'm just seeking some reassurance. Started with cold symptoms yesterday morning, bad chesty cough, sore throat, intense body aches, fuzzy headed to the point I feel like I'm going to pass out on standing. Tonight it feels like my nostril and my head is absolutely throbbing. No relief with paracetamol. A quick Google tells me it's sinus and will go to my brain!! I am PANICKING. Is it his just normal cold and normal symptoms which will pass? My nose is also dripping like a tap might I add with clear watery like fluid. Again Google tells me it's brain fluid leaking out and I am getting myself in a right state! I feel horrendous. I'm rarely sick so this is a shock to my system.

Dr Google is the devil

It's December

Lots of viruses

Paracetamol, lots of water and an early night
You're fine

Brain fluid?? It's snot! Step away from Google. Have you never had a cold before?
I hope you feel better soon.

I do get colds but they are usually just sniffles and nothing like what I've got now. I've and covid four times and each time I was lucky and only got a snotty nose. This is much much worse. I do have bad health anxiety though so I know I'm looking at incredibly unlikely scenarios.

Then stop it

It's a virus. Nothing more

You have a cold, (that's why you can't pronounce symptoms properly😆).
It's not brain fluid, that happens after serious trauma. It's snot.
Take paracetamol, do some steam inhalations and have an early night.

I'm like this at the minute. My second bout in the space of two weeks. I do some voluntary work with young children so I'm pretty sure that's where it's come from. I think not having had any sort of a cold during the pandemic and having had Covid relatively mildly, we've forgotten how rotten a cold can be. Like you, my nose is dripping, the sneezing is hurting my ribs and my head is pounding. Absolute grim. I've been taking flu tablets, lozenges and drinking loads of hot water with fresh lemon, honey and ginger. Wishing us both better! Flowers

I got this too for few weeks on and off!
It started with drippy runny nose, sneezing etc, than it moved down my chest, got a bit better after 10 long days but now I got very thick phlegm stuck and forming at the top of my throat, which wouldn’t come out, it’s make me gag to point of vomiting.
Actually what I read a LOT of people have same symptoms especially with the nose and thick mucous there. It must be some virus around ..
