Consultant Adding me to NHS List

I've booked a private appointment to see a consultant who runs their private practice at a private clinic (not a hospital). This same consultant also has an NHS practice at a hospital. Would the consultant be able to refer me to their NHS practice list given they're not running their private practice at the same place as their NHS practice?

Depends. My endocrinologist did just that but I’d already been referred on the nhs to his department. He just went in and stole the referral after I saw him privately. Not all consultants will do that.
