Hi , I’m worried about my oh who is experiencing sleep disturbances.
Sometimes during the night he kicks about and talks in his sleep , he’s even grabbed me which was frightening . Last night was the worst he got out of the bed in his sleep and tried to jump through the window he hit the window so hard he fell back hurting his head and hand .
He has been to see the GP the bloods are fine but he sent him a sleep apnea test which we are still awaiting the results from .
Im worried sick

How old is he?

Sounds like rem sleep disorder.

Can be a symptom of Parkinson's or some types of dementia.

Needs sleep studies!

Is he on antidepressants?
Is he having any anxiety, does he drink?

No antidepressants he does have a stressful job and has just reduced his hours
he does drink but the episodes seem to happen when he’s not drinking
