Pain in the lower leg!

There is no swelling, redness, or any change in skin color. The skin looks natural and normal. It does not hurt when I press on a place, but the pain comes suddenly for a few seconds, then disappears. The pain is like something hitting me. It is between mild and severe.

Is it possible that this is due to the wrong sitting or standing position? Pain in my right leg.

I did not practice any sports activities. It was a sudden thing. I wonder if it happened to someone here

Don't know but ring 111 if you're in the UK. How long has it been going on?

apter · 04/12/2023 07:41

@Gointhruhell
two days

Definitely ring 111 or your GP.

Was this a single incident or is it happening many times a day every day no matter how active or sedentary you are?

apter · 04/12/2023 08:50

@lljkk It happens once a day, when I sit on the bed or on the floor. I usually bend my knees in front of my chest when I sit, then I stand and it happens. At least once, the strange thing is that it disappears when I walk. Currently, when I sit, I extend my right leg over a pillow.

@lljkk I checked my blood pressure, it looks normal. My heartbeat seems normal, and I have no pain in my chest, back, heart, stomach, or abdomen.

I’m no expert, but is it your Achilles tendon? Could it be that you strained it somehow, and the act of standing is triggering it?

As I say, I’m not expert.

@HeartandSeoul “strained”…
I was really stressed out on Wednesday, I only slept for two hours, and then my sleep schedule became chaotic again. On Friday at dawn there was my period, on Saturday this happened to me, on Sunday it also came back, today is Monday, it happened and I felt it, when I put my leg on a pillow it disappeared.

It's probably nothing and will just go.

apter · 04/12/2023 20:37

I hope so

I wouldn't worry about occasional recurring pangs. they are normal for me at least
