Lump on neck

Hi there I’m 22 and I had this lump on neck for quite a while it’s where adams apple would be, went to gp who took my bloods to see if it’s thyroid and if not then will be sent for scan. Feeling worried. Has anyone had something similar or knows what it could be? Thanks.

Looks like a goitre, a swollen thyroid. I had mine removed 6 years and now take thyroid tablets. Make an appointment at your GP.

Thank you for your reply, I have been doctors they took my bloods to see if it is my thyroid, just waiting on results from blood and I’m quite anxious what it is x
