I did my first weight training session a couple of weeks ago. I was absolutely fine at the time, but a couple of days later I noticed a shallow swelling about half the size of my palm, on the outside of my upper left thigh - and it kept giving me a pins and needles sensation. It wasn't red or warm to the touch so I wasn't unduly worried. But it's still there and I'm still getting a prickling sensation. But still no redness or heat in it. I had to step up onto a platform earlier and it really twinged and gave me a sharp pain, but it quickly faded.
If I'm really lucky I might get in to see my GP sometime around Easter and I refuse to consult Dr Google. I'm thinking I might have torn a muscle, but unsure as I've never had anything like this before? Has anyone had something similar?
