If for no particular reason (trying, just can't sleep) you are only getting five hours sleep per day on average will it impact your health, short and long term? Thank you.

I believe so, I’m sure I’ve read 7 hours is the minimum you should be having. I know I get less sleep the older I get, and I feel lucky if I make the magic 7.

No idea, but I've been averaging between 4 and 5 hours a night for many years now.

I'm averaging 6 hours and just feel like the tiredness us building up all the time. I have no idea why I can't sleep more as don't feel particularly stressed.
