Help! Did I just cause a prolapse?

I had to transport a lot of very heavy stuff today, I used a wheelie case and just pulled it behind me. As I was doing it I did think "this can't be good for my pelvic floor " and was trying (and failing) to tighten my core to ease the load.

I then forgot all about it but as I've just come to bed, when I lie down on my side I feel pain down there and like something is in the way. I've just had a feel and there is a bulge by the entrance, nothing seems to have prolapsed down but it feels like something is pushing the front wall and there is a bulge there.

It was a little like that after DC2 but then got better. I've never really done Kegels either like an idiot. I had no natural births, but 2 c sections if that makes a difference.

Now I''m freaking out. Is this really bad? Is it fixable? What do I do next? GP or specialist?

Sounds worrying, probably best to see the GP. They can refer if necessary.

PFE are so important though.
With menopause the change in hormones can weaken the PF leading to bladder issues such as urgency and incontinence. If you download the NHS squeezy app your phone will remind you to do them, mine is set to 4 x a day.
You have to remember to also clench your anus though to get the full effect!
