Wierd Period Question

Went to the loo yesterday. It looked like I started my period so slapped on a pad and went about my day. Went up later to change it and there was no blood, just the brown discharge that I get at the end of my period. My norks have been sore the way they usually are and I have been an irritable harpie for the last couple of days. Is it possible to have a period that lasts one day? I can't be pregnant as DH had the snip 5 years ago and we've hardly had sex in the last month (not that that bothers me).

I've probably got my dates wrong. I'm sure it's been about a month since that last one. I've been doing extra night shifts so that may have left me a tad confused.

you could just be tired and run down. I get this alot but i have one of those lovely [sarcastic] marena coils. About the only time i have any show is when i go to the toilet, that pretty much is my period, can last a few days to a few weeks. But that is all because of the coil. So, that would be your answer if you have one of those, but my betting is that you are tired after your shifts etc and its thrown things off kilter. I often used to do this and not get my period for a few days properly, before the coil.

I sometimes get this on and off for a few days before my period properly kicks in.
