I am 41yo f with 3dc between 13 and 2.
I work full time in a germ rich environment (eg nursery/school/hospital)
I am just constantly sick at the moment and I seem to be unable to shake things like the rest of my family. If a virus or cold hits us everyone else might have a runny nose for a day or two but I'm totally wiped out - think chest infection/tonsilitis/chills and fevers lasting up to a week where everyone else has recovered without even needing to take a day off.
I have a gp appointment tomorrow afternoon and will ask for some blood tests but I have found in the past that it's been dismissed as just normal tiredness and it just feels like it's beyond normal to me.
It's getting to the point that work are not happy with my attendance which I can understand as it's seriously not good.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what might be up with me so maybe I can put it to the doctor if it rings true for me?
