Hello 🖐 I had my second (and last) baby two years ago. I breastfed her for about 18months so only feeling like my body is regulating again now. The last few months I have found that while my periods are fine, no cramps or excessive bleeding or anything, my ovulation is awful. I can have a week where I'm a bit twingy and then a day where I'm really sore and bloated - always on my right side. Some months have been worse than others. I did have what my doctor suspected was a cyst before but he just said they're very common and it would settle down.
Because of this I'm thinking of going back on hormonal contraception in the hope it helps. I haven't been on the pill in about 10 years so very out touch. Any suggestions on what has helped anyone else?

I’ve moved onto Desogestrel. Stopped my periods altogether…no PMT….amazing!
