Could this be scarlet fever?

I became unwell very suddenly yesterday teatime. Sudden sore throat, headache, fever to the extent that I had to go to bed. I'm still the same today. Feel very hot, coming over with chills, no energy, flushed face, sore back of the throat and headache.

I've done a Covid test and it is negative, although that may not mean anything.

I have developed very itchy lumps on my forearms, thighs and hips, but they are quite spread out - I wouldn't describe it as a pinprick rash. I have attached photos of my forearm and hip, with AirPods for scale.

Back of the throat looks very red and raw, although I had my tonsils removed 25 years ago, tongue looks quite pale and coated.

My uni aged dd wasn't well last week and I was in contact with her, so I think that might be where I picked it up. I saw her 6 days and 2 days before symptoms started.

Could this be scarlet fever? Given the high temp, should I contact out of hours?

Scarlet fever rash feels like sandpaper, rather than being blotchy...

Yes, that's what is confusing me. It isn't at all like sand paper, but I'm certain these itchy lumps are connected to my symptoms. The top of the lump comes away very easily when scratched, although I wouldn't describe them as blisters like chickenpox.

I've tried googling and o can't see what else fits the symptoms.
