Bloating and wind

Determined to do a few things to reduce bloating and smelly wind and would love to know any success stories.
It's not a new thing for me but it does seem to come and go in phases. I know my bread intake affects it (I LOVE bread!) and I can address that, but what else?
I've read charcoal tablets (any particular brand/type?), peppermint tea, probiotics (in what form?). More green veg (always a good thing). Any other foods to avoid?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Watching with interest! I’ve always had an ‘active’ stomach but it’s getting worse with age (I’m 55). I really struggle with onions in any form plus pears and basically all the fibrous good food. Also love bread like you! I try not to have too much. One thing I need to do is slow down my eating as I'm always rushing food in between work and jobs - maybe that’s something to try. Sorry no other suggestions. Peppermint tea didn’t help for me.

Peppermint tea and also ginger & turmeric tea!

Sounds like u probably have ibs. So following the fodmap diet would be ur first port of call. Worked wonders with me

I literally just cut out gluten and bloating and smelly wind disappeared within days. Nothing else required.
