Is there are remedy for this? One I have not thought of?

I have him propped up [3 pillows], we have Vick on chest and back, cough medicine for Tickly, one for dry and one for chesty but none of them are working... I resorted to Mediced last night at 11.45pm but it did not work.

Is there anything else I can do here?

TIA

Yes, you're right. I was grapsing at straws I think, with match-sticks in my eyes!

Thanks for your reply.

I have always had a big problem with coughing whenever I have a cold - I mean a really bad problem with coughing where, when I used to take down evidence in court, the whole court had to stop while I had yet another coughing fit . Anyway, I have recently come across something that actually seems to work for me - Cornvita Propolis Throat Spray.

Baby now off boob so can continue - it soothes the horrible itchiness that makes me cough - at least long enough to get to sleep . It also means I don't have to keep chewing nasty cough drops. Its ingredients are water, manuka honey, propolis, lecithin, sorbic acid, peppermint oil, clove oil, aniseed oil and myrrh. It was quite expensive but worth it's weight in sleep.

Oh thanks very much. I think I may just buy these both this afternoon.

I would love for him to be able to have a few hours solid sleep tonight as my father is watching him tomorrow, so he will refuse to sleep then...and I would quite like to be awake throughout a 6 hour meeting I have to attend. [yuck]

He is 3 so should be okay with both of these. I shall check the back of the spray before I buy though.

Here is hoping my local chemist has them in stock.

Thanks very much.

Hi again. I don't know if you have purchased the spray yet, but fyi, I noticed a child's version in the organic/health food shop where I bought mine in.
