Can I take these?

I bought some calcium, vitamin d, and magnesium tablets to take because it's apparently good for fatigue and helps with anxiety and sleep. I have health anxiety, and I'm now worrying that if I don't need the extra support, I'm going to become unwell. What will happen to me if I start taking them and my body doesn't need them?

Can I take these?

Some things are just excreted if your body has enough of them anyway. Vitamin C is a good example

Expensive wee! You’ll just pee them out

Raspberrymoon49 · 18/11/2023 22:03

Nothing will happen!

You’ll be fine on those. You can’t really OD on any of that with healthy kidneys.

you need way more vitamin D than that this time of year and definitely more magnesium.

Doesn't magnesium build up in your body over time? Or do you just wee it out? Sorry if I sound silly

80% of adults are deficient in magnesium due to diet. We should all be taking st least 400mg of elemental magnesium a day. That doesn’t say if it’s elemental so no idea how much you’ll actually get.

You should take vitamin K with vitamin D ..maybe get a higher dosage of vitamin D next time and don't forget the vitamin K!
