Hi wise owls
Bad diet has caught up with me. I'm 49, have a BMI of 23 but clearly i'm unhealthy and have been masking it. I do not drink or smoke.
Urgently need to turn diet around, GP is giving me 6 months to establish a sustainable way of living. I honestly don't know where to start, I know I need to take ownership of this, my cholesterol is 7.2 (due in no small part to genetics but I need to address it through diet).
I cycle but only once a week and I need constant exercise now. I can figure that bit out. I'd already joined a gym (but only getting there sporadically, but might look at C25K as I can blend that into WFH schedule).
But diet info for B12 clashes with cholesterol.
I am starting B12 injections today.
Is there a rough guide or diet plan I could use as a base to begin this?
I am mum to two under 10 and work full-time. So I'm time poor and food/healthy eating has fallen off the agenda.
