Hey Guys

So I recently had gallbladder removal surgery on Friday and since then I've had zero appetite, nausea and a fever and my anxiety is sky high! The hospital sent me home with some antibiotics however I feel more unwell when I take them!
Anyone else had the same experience as me following gallbladder surgery?

You need to call 111 and get some help. I simply walked out of the hospital three hours after this operation and never looked back. I had no pain, nausea or fever.

Antibiotics often make me sick.

However, given your circumstances I think you should probably contact the hospital.

Were you given a discharge letter or leaflet? If so it normally has a phone number you can call.

Do you have the number of the surgical nurse specialists to call? A fever and nausea after surgery is something that needs reviewing

Thanks for the reply guys so I was treated in a private hospital under the NHS I rang the hospital where I had my surgery and they refused to treat me as they don't have emergency care facilities which is fair enough.
I was in a&e on Sunday night when I first developed the fever and they did a CT scan that showed a collection too big to drain, I was sent home with antibiotics and painkillers for the pain. Feeling absolutely awful imo the bloody gallbladder attacks weren't this bad 😭
